Scugog is a township in the Regional Municipality of Durham. It is northeast of Toronto and north of Oshawa and is situated on the shores of Lake Scugog. Lake Scugog is one of Sourthen Ontario's largest bodies of water. Scugog is a First Nations word meaning "Marshy Waters".
